POST GAME [Round 6, 2026] - Broncos vs Cowboys

I’m still livid. Yeah our defense sucked but we had 12 points put on us for a wrong sin binning and then a 12 point swing for that debacle with Shibasaki.

Even if you take out Duffy’s non-forward forward pass and Drinkwater’s penalty we scored after. It’s still 24 points they got from refereeing bad calls to 12. That right there is the game.
 
Good press conference by madge and pat. Called out some things but didnt make excuses. Sounds like they will fight pats charge if he gets one, both said it was a good chest tackle. Also will probabpy try get paix cat 1 downgraded. Cam bukowski with a potential debut coming up.

Carrigan should be captain.
 
Mam ending the game as the sole starting spine member while largely being a passenger throughout. Would've been nice to see him take control - I'd guess he called that play on 5th tackle when Piakura gave him the inside ball. That was rubbish. Lucky we had Duffy.

Try assist and a kick chase to score a try and earn the flashy highlight reel points, but such a defensive liability. Too many missed tackles, and ones that were made he often ended up on his back behind the play the ball. Slow play the balls when he does run it. Fitness?

He compliments Reynolds, Hunt and Walsh with his running game (when it works) but looking toward the next few years I wouldn't be mad if someone else comes in.

Nah the teams get paid out too well and the league is full of kick backs and back scratching... JWH has a ****ing speaking role with a broadcaster for **** sake.

Only way it happens is if one of the whistle blowers is a complete and utter moron that just can't help himself... the CEO from Warriors seems like a prime candidate for it though

Duffy is a good 7, would ruin the kid trying to turn him into a 6 imo.

Mam isn't as bad as some of the haters are saying. The only gripe would be that he's not consistent enough for the money we're paying him.

If a player is running too fast is he a disruptor because his footsteps are too loud? Does the entire team and crowd need to go silent when a bomb goes up like it’s Wimbledon?

I feel like the primary indicator might be based on what jerseys are being worn... or if game situation determines whether a try is or is not needed at that point in time.

But yeah Riki is apparently giving away a disruptor penalty every time he chases a kick too hard

Mam comfortably outplayed Dearden last night who gets talked up like he’s the qld Cleary but does nothing at club level. Lucky for him Clifford is in career best form and Drinky is a very good playmaking fb

Just on this, I’ve been out and only glancing at BHQ.
I’ve had another look just now but can’t hear Klein say this so audio was obviously cut to him at the time. I can’t remember the exact moment he said it but I have a feeling it was before he blew time off for the review. Also, the words above were verbatim except, he paused at “off” like he couldn’t remember who the player was. I’m pretty sure he said “them” but not 100% like the rest of it.
