Canberra have some big boys...

Nah haha. Just makes more sense for the balance of the team as a whole.
haha was just kidding. I agree, probably would have made more sense. I haven't really seen enough of Carrigan to judge too much. I thought he was only okay from what I have seen. Flegler is good when he holds the ball. Sua is basically being turned into a middle it seems. Not sure if that was the tactic or just the outcome of him coming back after christmas considerably heavier (bloke looks 5-10kg heavier than last year).

Seibold in the sheds looks like he's giving a lecture in an office building.

Maybe that's his big problem, he just isn't very inspiring.

It's time for a good win.

not necessarily ... we play the lock in the middle anyway, and Flegler is suited to that role. although he probably offers a but more impact of the bench than Carrigan does

we have two middle forwards in TPJ and Lodge suspended/injured. that makes us short in the middle forward department. not sure who else he could bring in

Mago

Let’s geddit. Can’t take another week of negative posts.

Season defining moments ahead.

Gould has been nothing but supportive of the broncos lately. What’s going on...

the players that we are playing are better than Mago

You seem to like being contrary to my posts lately, with discussion-killing responses posed as absolute-fact, but to counter your response:

It doesn't matter if a player is 'better' (which currently Su'A is not in my opinion), it's about team balance. Su'A may be spending time in the middle, but it still isn't the same as having another genuine middle forward there. Say we have an injury to one of the big boys, we then have no like-for-like positional substitutes once Carrigan goes on. We already have Glenn and Gillett playing 80, Fifita can probably too, and we have Staggs in a pinch with Roberts on the bench, so we have enough cover in second row.

I do have a liking for Mago, underrated, who should be ahead of the experience signings in the pecking order at least, so I admit my bias. I feel Su'A is still underdone (and overweight) and should be in QCup for a bit yet

Good start so far.

Dropped ball Staggs already. Fmd
