POST GAME [Round 7, 2026] - Broncos vs Tigers

Great win , the NRL will not be happy the dream team lost tonight against a beat up team getting all the calls against somehow.

It's actually an embarrassment to the game that a stat sheet can read 79% possession to the side going into half time down. Literally every metric went to them including the handouts from officials and they still lost. It tells you all you need to know about this once great game.
They already said we scored the controversial try on fox so they're sorted

3rd choice FB.

5th choice hooker.

Neither starting prop.

Losing 2 during the game.

3 others on one leg.

Hardly any good possession, behind in every stat, destroyed by the ref for the first 20 minutes.

That is one of the most amazing wins in the history of the club. Hold your heads up high boys, that was ****ing tough but so important in the context of the season and your careers. So ****ing proud.

NRL can suck all the dicks. Most one-sided game I think I can remember, and that's saying something after last week. I keep saying it, it's the 6-agains and penalties NOT given which are the problem. Another week we have to literally play a different game to our opposition. So ****ing sick of it, I wish the club would ask for a please explain from the administration.

The NRL have made every play against transparency. Fines against talking about officiating, hiding stats, managed replays, six agains, the bunker. You name it, it's been done.

Like I said I firmly believe that gambling needs to be removed from everything, the broadcast, advertising, and any professional sport should not be allowed to even be in within a bees dick of money coming from that industry.

Massive effort from the team.
Even Gos' stint in the middle was decent.
Rogers was a beast in defence and held his own.
A couple of classy plays from Reyno and a heap of guts was the difference.
Those 6 against in the first 20 was just ridiculous, offside fair enough but some of those were dominant tackles or nothing.
Shiba has to go. Mariner centre, Nio wing. No yardage, and missing critical tackles game after game. '25 Shiba was bending the line and at least solid defence most games, as well as running strong lines. His arm grab in the first half was it for me.

Depending on the ligament how long is Staggs gone for? God damn it.
Who knows... will have to wait for Qscan or maybe NRL physio to give us an idea.

He played through it so might be a pain tolerance thing?? but he was definitely hampered.

Im so glad we won that because if we had lost after Shiba threw that simple pass forward at the death to end it, not sure I would have ever recovered. Bloke is struggling with even the simple stuff.

First time I’ve seen Buks play. His passes are so crisp, that’s the absolute fundamental that a dummy half needs. Hope we keep developing him nicely.
That’s what I was trying to say in the game thread.
I think that out of all of our 1000 hookers at the club, Bukowski has the best pass from dummy half.
Well done young man!
