They are men playing for a career. Bit of a cop out to say you didn’t put in 100% because of your boss, but my main concern is it’s used as yet another excuse. How much do you want to bet a change of coach = similar result?
 
Luke, Niu, TPJ, Haas, Glenn, Herbie Kennedy, and Coates were the only players who played at an average or above level. Milf, Boyd, Oates, Croft, Isaako were absolutely trash.
 
For everyone who didn’t watch the game, here’s a reminder the when Lodge went off injured, we failed the replace him and voluntarily played with 12 men for almost 10 minutes of game time. Then when Oates got binned, Lodge still hadn’t been replaced and we played with 11 men.
This is not a joke or a meme, it actually happened.

edit: some people are pointing out we may have been out of interchanges. If that is the case we shouldn’t have wasted our last interchange on hooking Niu for Isaako for no reason with 15 mins to go

Yep, was never worried back then. Knew the club and coach would turn it around, and we had the cattle. Langer walking out mid season was a walk in the park compared to this.

I just don't see us winning the comp ever. We held up well the back end of 99 and won it the tear after.

No way anyone thinks we are winning anything any time soon .

Seibold, White and Nolan all need to go. This is a very dark time for the Broncos, and another Brisbane club could honestly wipe us out.

We were out of substitutes were we not? Still shit to not leave 1 left with that long left in the game, just wouldnt call it voluntarily if we had no subs left.
