Another big game for the girls this week. Away vs Newcastle who will be still fuming after that refereeing performance from Ziggy on the weekend vs the Roosters and will be looking to take it out on us.

If we repeat last week's performance, we should win this.

Need to keep the errors and penalties to a minimum, use our power game and play off the back of that.

A win here would be very handy. We'll stay in 2nd place regardless but it would strengthen our position in the top 3. Does the top 3 get a home final?

I would have ended the Shenae playing from the bench experiment this week. We could get away with it the past couple of weeks but I feel like someone like Hicks on the bench would be much more useful in this game.

Week 1 of finals 1st and 2nd get a week off and it’s 3 v 6 & 4 v 5.

Winner of each play 1st and 2nd in week 2. Winners of those go through the GF.

So Top 4 gets you a home final, either elimination or semi

I’m happy to keep easing Shenae back in. Still 4 games including this week with games against the Bulldogs, Warriors and Cowboys to go. She got 19 minutes vs the Raiders and 30 minutes vs the Eels, this time with only Maddick being subbed off so it seems clear what the path forward will be as she increases game time.

They will probably start bringing
Tamika off early if the game is sealed to keep her fit and out of contact (and so as to not waste Hayley entirely), but I agree I’d like another forward, particularly for this game as you can push Dam out wide if a back goes down, but I guess Hayley can cover halves and fullback which are more important and specialised.
