I don't think that's accurate... Semu had 20-25 family travel to Sydney for the tigers game... so he was absolutely playing on the weekend.

He didn't play because of the Arthars and Staggs injury.

This is his jersey for the game, notice the text on the front chest. You're not handing someone their debut if you don't rate them. It was just an unfortunate set of circumstances that led to him being held back.

He was supposed to play on Saturday, Semu's family was all there for his debut, and he was going to play.

And yet... we got a 2nd Rower (jetski) picked out of position to do his job for him.

Nah, they are right. It was his missus that got a job in Sydney.

My frustration is he was already signed for this year. Would come in bloody handy right now... we let him go to allow him to be with his missus and take a 4 year job, starting instead of off the bench. It was good for him, bad for us.

I think he started as the MMM producer who'd come in every now and then but is now more of a host.

Just crazy they give a kid who has been wrong about A LOT of things that license.

Yea, a bit pathetic. Considering before that Tigers game we had the most outs for a club team. Now it has increased by another 4.

And both Cows and Tigers were full strength when we versed them. And almost won BOTH.

NRL media's job nowadays is to be deliberately wrong to create rage and engagement.... he's a producer and knows that.

His takes are just so obviously ragebait that there's just no point listening to him... but that's the same with all the mainstream NRL media coverage... and getting that way with independent NRL media coverage.

For me the NFL draft and free agency before that have been occupying my time... somehow taking in US sports news in their offseason is more entertaining to me than NRL's coverage in their actual season.
