I keep having this cooked thought which I know makes no sense, but sometimes teams get camped defending their own line for like 20+ back to back tackles.

Is there ever a situation where it is tactically beneficial to just let in a try
When V’Landys eventually gets the game to a place where we’re getting 94-88 score lines, it probably will be worth it

If you are giving away three infringements to zero in the first set your opposition has despite them having faster play the ball speed than you, what exactly can you do in this case?

Some controllables :

Be more effective tacklers .
And make dominant tackles . The third man actually puts in the effort to make sure the ball carrier ends up on the ground . Then study how the Panthers use a 4th man in the tackles and how they peel off and re organise their line so the tacklers don`t panic and make extra efforts on the ground.

It`s interesting to me the most effective tackler in the team is Renyo .

I just want to point out, that dropping 5/10 is 50% so they're already doing it 😬
Excellent. Exactly what you want from first graders. You know, the guys earning 100s of thousands to play footy.
As a full time job.

In what corporate setting would you still have a job if you were competent 50% of the time?!

Not government though. That 5/10 is a very high bar for government employees.
There are always exceptions that prove the rule…

I’d be giving Bukowski 20 off the bench until Hunt/Mozer return. He’s not quite ready for prime time, but he’s already the best attacking hooker I can recall seeing in a Broncos jersey for a very long time.
Speaking Truths Pete!
Report that shit tonight please 🙏🏻

Glazing Talty?! All. Day. Long.
He should start and Captain Australia as far as I am concerned.
However, keep him of the bench for impact.

At 1st I thought Talty was all show and no go .
He`s growing into his work . Kobe who ?

Should be a very interesting Teamlist on Tuesday with so many out's.
Jessie should keep the #1 but needs to spend all week working on his bomb diffusal.
Buk showed he can be trusted to play the final 20 after Paix has done his stint.
Shiba worry's me the most, feel like Lachlan the next Nathan Cleary/Andrew Johns but with a shit haircut Galvin is going to be feeding a lot of short balls in his area.

ARey seems to love playing against the dogs so I hope that continues. Dogs are very bipolar, they go from playing perfect last week to garbage tonight. I hope the win last night gives our boys confidence that even with their injuries, they can win if they put their mind to it. I’m quietly confident

torn ligament in foot how long out?

If we can somehow get out of the next few weeks with a few wins with all these players out it is going to help us come Origin time with guys already getting game time and will give our injured players an unintended rest which may help at the back end of the season.

This week is a very important match. Given both us and the Dogs are hovering just outside the 8.
