Sigh of relief with Arthars and Staggs being named. Obviously late mail could change that after they do their hard session for the week.

I rate Jetski at prop more than 2nd row, I think Madge is rewarding him and Talty from the solid performance against the Tigers. They need to do that again against a fresh Bulldog side. And let's be real, who tf else do we have?

Rogers was solid and can help a lot from the bench if Paix is getting rolled. PRiki is solid too in Qcup and Preseason trials, could easily do what JGos did last week. And Semu has leg speed like Talty too.

Just need to make sure Talty, JGos, Piakura and JRiki start well. 100RM+ each at least.

And yeah, PRiki was T&T.

Yeah, I agree. There's a difference between trying to defend at second row as opposed to the middle. His tackle efficiency is at 91% which is not far behind some other regulars. Also, he's not up against work beaters in the opposing front row. Is he going to be in the 3-2-1 at the end of the game? Probably not . But like you say, who else we got?
 
Dogs don't have a huge pack so I don't mind this. Going to be tough to jag this one though I fear, we will almost certainly be on the back foot all night again like last week. Dogs like playing fast and I expect them to be well up for a game against the wounded premiers after last week's debacle.
 
It's not a bad team tbf. A bit light up front, but its not like the Bulldogs have the best forward pack either.

Karapani and Mariner to each run a thousand metres, and we should be fine.

Need another Reynolds masterclass.

Yeah, don't rate him as a 2nd rower but he had a good game off the bench in the middle, was genuinely surprised. Hopefully he backs it up with another 100m 90+% tackle efficiency game.
 
I'm expecting Kotoni and Jesse will drop out and Verhoeven and Perham will slot in.
I don't mind Gos holding up the middle with Talty, and I hope we do get to see Semu get a run.
Like the other posters alot of metres are gonna have to come from the backs and 2nd rowers. We need '25 Shiba running 120-140 m and tackling everything in sight.
And the '25 Dogs game-version of Ezra!
I hope Barrett has been putting up bombs for the wingers, but I worry if Jesse can even run, let alone jump.
 
If the jet ski can get through a few games without breaking his arm he could be useful in the middle as a workhorse.
