Preston riki might have earnt the edge spot tonight (p riki is a better middle then gos and junt but i prefer gos in the middle for 15-20 mins rather then an edge for 60+ by a lomg way, and i prefer j hunt with zero minutes.)

Priki has played edge in the past in NSW cup so you'd think he could be a option. Looked pretty mobile for a big fella.

He looks the prototypical prop under Vlando ball... hope he sticks with us, because he might get a call up and another full preseason under Madge if we move on from someone like Jhunt or Gos

He scored that amazing try to get us through the 'riff into the granny last year. Not many wingers score that try against the 3 he beat to get there.

He's been super consistent and on that right edge with Katoni, he's been amazing defensively.

Need to lock that kid down long term.

Coming up against the first-choice middles for the dogs though he did get a bit man-handled. BUT, he didn't drop the pill! Normally when a forward is a bit out muscled they cough it up in a 3v1 and he did bloody brilliant in that regard.

We always knew our middles were never going to out perform theirs in a meters game, but we were tough and gallant in defense, respected the ball and we won comfortably off the back of it.

That, and Galvin is an absolute hack - Sexton is twice the player, how he lost out of that is beyond me.

Yeah for sure. Didn’t mean it as knock on Talty, it just shouldn’t be his job to do what is probably the toughest carry in the game - returning the kick off.

That’s the only game in my memory where where I was sure three of the tries we scored we didn’t (Mariner, Xman and Ezra). Then upon seeing the replays being absolutely gobsmacked and elated at being so wrong lol
