A little disappointing we couldn’t crack 50. This was the type of game to do it in.
Upton is a ****ing freak. She is the #1 player in the game.
I look at our next two games and they are both games we should win comfortably, which does raise the concern of us repeating what happened last year by going into the finals flat because we’ve been up for so long.
We play the Warriors in NZ next week, I wonder if Prince is thinking of resting players so they’re fresh for the finals. I would be staggering the rest over the next couple of weeks going into the finals, we’re not winning the minor premiership and we’ve secured top 2. I would look at resting some of our backline stars next week and then some of the forwards in the final game at home.

Reported calf injury. Same one she tore last pre-season (origin)
Could be an issue as she’s a hybrid hooker/lock so she can play longer minutes if we’re down on forwards or need to give them a break.
Only other spine player we have is Adams, or if we need an actual hooker, Lavinia Gould I believe is still at the club but only on a development contract now

The sudden acceleration is also the same.
Watch her third try against the Bulldogs. She's lurking around Ali waiting for the ball and the moment she gets the ball, she hits the afterburners and she's running at top speed in almost an instant.
She's such a joy to watch.

The Loz no try, I didn't see complete separation.
It comes away from the hand but it maintains contact with the wrist which is still okay. It seems like Todd forgot the new grounding interpretation.

Yeah had a look and slowed the replay down to 0.25 speed and couldn’t see any daylight between her hand and the ball.
Wasn’t 100% clean but I’ve seen a lot a worse let go.
Shame for Loz, first one up my end was a tough pass to take at the line and the second was 75/25 at worst and she ends up with two errors instead of two tries :(
