As long as our attack isn't clunky, with Walsh, Mam, Rey spine, and remains as efficient as it has been the past 3 weeks, then I can see us winning.

In the last 5 games, our attack and defensive is equal with the chooks. That is with this undermanned side too, against mostly near full strength outfits.

And with X in left 2R, our left side defense should be even better than the past few weeks.
That is our only weak spot. If we fix that up, then our defensive will be better than Chooks attack.

With Walsh coming back in, we SHOULD have a better attack than Chooks defense.

If we go in with the intent and execution of the past 5 games, then we should win.

It will be interesting to see how Walsh fits back into this team.

Without him there we've been a very structured team and still creating points even without the star power... Ezra has been able to thrive with Reyno pulling the strings.

When Walsh comes in he demands the ball... and rightly so because he's our best player... but it has resulted in Ezra dropping into his shell and getting less ball.

Walsh wanting the ball every set potentially throws Reyno out of whack as well, because he's needing to setup situations to give Walsh the ball... instead of being able to go through his normal rhythm and pick defences apart.

Last year when Walsh had his injury break he wasn't playing all that well to start the year, and indicated that he spent his injury break basically watching film and learning... he came back and we only lost 2 games from Rd 14 onwards to win the GF.

This year he was in good form when he got injured... hopefully he's been spending that time watching film again and continually looking to improve his game.

The Roosters may win but the glazing they're getting is ridiculous. They've beaten Manly with Seibald still at the helm, they've beaten the Sharks who haven't really fired a shot, the Knights without Ponga and Brown and then the almighty Dargons who decided to punt their coach at the start of the week and then decided not to train until the Wednesday, they were always on a hiding to nothing.

Apparently though, the chooks can just score from anywhere and are apparently the second best team in the comp...despite being belted by the Wahs and Panthers. Flogs

They are still a step up on the Dogs, Tigers and Cows.

Absolutely central to our chances this week.

Proved we can grind out games off the back of discipline and structured play with Walsh out the last few weeks.

A lot rests on Reyno pulling the right reins. Building pressure and playing the percentages when we need to, and identifying when to let them loose.

If the spine can nail the balance, we're a good chance.

Madge has said that Jensen has lost 10kg, and will be out for 3 months minimum. Poor bloke, hope he can actually get back, that's really scary stuff
I feel every team needs a Jensen in the pack. He says very little never whinges about contracts and just gets on with his job. He might not be superstar class but he's a good serviceable prop and he now owns a GF winning ring 😂😂😂
