Uggghhhhhh I'm so angry but also so stoked how well the guys came back and could/should have still won that game. Roosters will be glazed hard by the media but honestly, they should be disappointed. Radley being binned as he should have would have ended their night and we run away with it. Really proud again of the guys digging deep again through so much adversity - again.
If we get close to healthy we will give this comp a really good shake again this year. I love this team!!

Don’t be a sook. Nobody was hurt, there’s nothing in it.
It happens in almost every tackle. Nobody cares one way or the other as long as it’s ruled on consistently.. it’s not and that’s the problem.

This what we were up against all night. They were easily getting a roll-on every set, and we were retreating and giving their pack momentum. I wonder why?
This is their first try. Note where the tackler Talty is on the ground here, as he is the non-moving reference, and the wide view only shows when the next play is under way:
So from the next frame, it shows that their PTB would have been approx 25-26 metres out:
So why was the ref bringing our defensive line back to around 13m out from their line? An extra 2-3 metres beyond (what should be) the 10 metres is an extra 4-6 metres our defensive line has to travel. And this was happening just about every play. There is absolutely no way you can arrest any momentum with that sort of handicap. But with all the 6-again bullshit taking up everyone's attention, this keeps getting ignored.

Staggs being binned is fine. Was unnecessary and dumb.
The problem is other grubby shit not even getting a look in. Hudson Young, Trell, Cody Walker, Crichton, they all eat that same stuff up.
It's just frustrating that we probably could have had Radley or someone else binned for repeated infringements 30 secs earlier too.
