Our forward pack would've been considerably stronger if Willison started in the middle. I think the coaching team got far too cute with that decision. Jetski filled the stat sheet against the bulldogs with his tackle count, but was the stats never reflected that he was often behind the ruck. Same tonight against a much more physical pack in the Roosters.

The set restart on the fourth tackle just prior to Staggs binning was interesting. The broncos had clawed it back to 6pts with not long left in the game and Gee found a set restart that gets them possession in our half.

The timing honestly felt like he was worried the game was getting away from the roosters and had to find something to get them back, Staggs then made it very easy

I agree. This was the moment we lost the game. A late tackle set restart for a nothing infringement.

What makes me laugh though is remembering how incredibly sad a story his life must be to be on here on a saturday night. Like do you think he tells people at work he does this? Does his partner/friends/family know? He is spending his SATURDAY NIGHT watching a team he obviously hates just in the hope he can go onto their fan forum and spend HOURS pretending he isnt bias against them. Its ****ing sad haha. What did he do last year? He must have been shattered. His team is having half decent form (and some ref luck) but they are no closer to a premiership than the dragons, what will he do when we win another one? I get happy or sad with my teams results but I cant even imagine what my life would have to become to be so impacted by anothers. Thats a whole other level.

Salty about last night still, but in saying that. I am pretty sure everyone is in agreement that if we lost due to equal refereeing, you could just say the Roosters were the better side.

But you can't say that if we didn't have close to equal possession in that first half. Plus the head butt tackle that was missed on the first half, should've been a binning. Then the two high tackles by Radley in the 2nd half, should be a bin too.

Obviously, Staggs deserved to be sin binned.

Not to mention we played all this with a 1 forward rotation since Reyno and Mariner/Karapani (3 interchanges) went down, and Hunt stayed out there in 2RW. Madge knew this and put Willison in the for rest of the game in place of Semu.

All in all, the quality and resiliance of this Broncos team is INSANE.
