It seems NRL is not alone with the rule change speed of game argument.
It's like an arms race between AFL and NRL to be the fastest with most minutes of ball in play.

If you ever wanted to see the influence the media has on the game, look no further. Robbo talked his trash, Freddy and Gus backed him to the hilt and low and behold no charge the following day. Bennett cleared his throat and Greenberg had to come out and admit they got it wrong.
I love this sport but there's times where it just leaves you speechless.
