Mata'utia beats Walker with a step, breaks out of the cover by Reynolds before setting up Widdop on the inside for a long range try.

Weak defence from Walker got caught back-peddling and the step completely beat him.

Cooper and Merrin are looking good.

That's half-time.

Dragons lead 10-6 and look on track for another comfortable victory.

It just seems like everyone is doing their job for the Saints and they're just high on their own confidence and playing with finals like intensity. I really can't say enough nice things about the likes of Nightingale, Marshall, Cooper and Merrin.

Meanwhile Souths continue to be just a little off the pace. Defending premiers seem to go through this phase all the time where injuries hit and everybody is just a little off. It's going to take a bit of confidence to fix this and the best way to get confidence is to win.

Whether they can achieve that tonight depends on their commitment in the second half. They've got to go the distance here and challenge the Dragons through the ruck.

I'll be really interested to see their opening to the second half.

Keary did well to earn a repeat set and off the back of two good rucks from Grant and Grevsmuhl the Rabbits were able to shift it wide and scored through Gray.

Composed effort and just frustrated the Dragons who were exposed creatively.

Did anyone else notice the kick for touch by Smith in the 74th minute during the Eels game?

It looked like he was aiming at the Eels fan in the crowd that was giving him a mouthful.

Cronk came over to say a few words, maybe he was telling him to go for it?

Yep it was picked up by Triple M and made waves across social media.

Was a funny little moment. I've seen some people try to say that the fan must have really pissed Smith off like it was Tallis circa 2002 but I think it was all in good fun.

Must say the mother did well to catch the ball one handed and protect her baby.

That could have been ugly otherwise. As much as you can point fingers at Smith in that situation, I've never understood the idea of taking babies to the footy.
