Round 9 Discussion

Can we have anarchy? Someone needs to take over this comp before its ruined. It's only going to deteriorate even more if we don't stop it.

I'm sure the Broncos being shit colours my opinion, but this is easily the worst quality NRL season in my memory.

The games are fucking shiiiitttt. There's so few tense, awesome games this year. I can probably count 2 or 3 that were genuinely fun to watch 1-80, and one of them was us vs Penrith, and the other was Penrith vs Melbourne.
 
Put it this way, I was happy to watch 6-7/8 games last year, this year I'm barely going through 3 games a week, and most of the time I've switched off after 20 because it's already a blowout.

How is this a good product, let alone better when you literally have three teams that can win or four on a good day? One of those teams has multiple long-term injuries and they are STILL flogging everyone else aside from the other two said teams. This comp has become a disgrace.

Also, SJ is not what we need, I've watched him closely the last two weeks and he seems to have gone backwards.

Broncs v Titans was easily the best game of the season so far, and thats only because of the massive record breaking comeback, or it would have been the same as every other weekend with lopsided games with one way floggings.

I suppose that's an added bonus for people who are fixated on making lists. There must be a name for that aversion surely?
 
for my SVRL team's sake I wish Cleary would get in on the try assist's his team mates are racking up.

i mean 7/7 conversions is great, but a few extra points never hurts
 
2 points shy of calling it, however, its a sad state of affairs when a 50-0 scoreline is an easy prediction.

They have ruined the game with these rule changes. 98-0 in two games so far this round. I am fast losing interest in watching any games. Unless you are a fan of the club piling on the points it holds no interest for neutrals or fans of the other team. Vlandys has in fact gone too far the other way and the product if anything is worse now than what it was.

Whilst I am on my soapbox, why do Fox have Cronk commentate on Storm games and Alexander commentate on Penrith games, fmd it does my head in the level of bias.
