To get the ball rolling, I just had a quick look at the prices for the game between Australia and England in Melbourne as due to delays in my visa, I might still be here then and the LOWEST price is $85. Good luck with selling that to Melbourne.

Interestingly, the games will be broadcast on channel 7 ... not channel 9

So some hope of quarter decent commentary?

Dan Ginnane of Triple M Sydney is the lead commentator for 7. Will be interesting to see how he goes. Radio calling to TV calling isn't the easiest transition - look at Hadley. Sounds like he is calling the Wentworth Park dogs at times on 9.

Josh McGuire has missed out on the updated 24 man squad for the world cup

That's nuts. He deserves to be there over Woods and arguably Maclean & RCG.

Jesus.. I am really struggling to get behind this team. McGuire should have been there over Jake Turbobitch. He's just so average.

Michael Hagan had a day off from training last week and Mal didn't know what to do so he taught them a dance.

Josh McGuire has missed out on the updated 24 man squad for the world cup

That's just the week 1 teams.

22-man squad named for the England clash. Dane Gagai has also been left out.

NZ team for Week 1 -

1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak
3. Gerard Beale
4. Brad Takairangi
5. Jordan Rapana
6. Kodi Nikorima
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Martin Taupau
9. Thomas Leuluai
10. Adam Blair (c)
11. Kenny Bromwich
12. Joseph Tapine
13. Simon Mannering

14. Nelson Asofa-Solomona
15. Russell Packer
16. Isaac Liu
17. Danny Levi

18. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
19. Peta Hiku
20. Te Maire Martin
21. Addin Fonua-Blake

NZ are in trouble if Beale and Takaraingi are their countries best centres.
I would have rolled the dice with SKD and picked Whare if that was the case. Whare is very solid and SKD can be a match winner. He can lose you a match as well but Beale and Takaraingi cant win you a match.
