Shane Warne coaching?

I've been hearing this stuff of late about how Shane Warne has put his hand up to coach the twenty20 team.

What is everyone's thoughts on this and do you think Warne could make it as a coach?

The guy has an excellent cricket brain. Though he lacks brains in almost every other area of his life, he would have been a fantastic on field captain, knew his stuff brilliantly. So, if he can get past his own ego, he would be a brilliant choice, though that is a HUGE if.

I reckon he'd make a great coach, but would rather see Ponting or Gillespie get the nod.
