Souths Vs Raiders *spoilers*

Sutton splits them and dishes off to Capewell who gets one back for Souths.

Canberra lead 40-23 with a kick to come which is successful 40-25 with 6mins left.

Thompson (achilles injury) and Tongue off the field injured. Herbert gone for the season with the medial ligament injury and Thompson to maybe. Gee wiz they are going to pay a heavy price

How many players had season ending injuries in this game ...owww.

That on top of the 6-7 guys already out for the season, its big in the context of their push for the finals and top 4

40-25 was the final score.

My thoughts were correct that it would be a high scoring game by I missed out on my 1-12!

Canberra were superb in the 2nd half, particularly Campese! He has been going great guns in the last 10 weeks or so and I wouldnt be at all surprised if he is in the top 2 or 3 come Dally M Medal time in a couple of weeks. Without him on the field they would not have gone close to winning or scoring as many points as they did.

Their forwards were outstanding again, thats what got them back in the match. I thought Logan had a cracker of a game off the bench and gave them the impotess that they lacked early in the game.

Souths played well for the first 40 due to a fair bit of possession but when they got none in the 2nd half they just went downhill. Sandow was the standout for mine. However there were encouraging signs for next week against the Rorters! I think and hope they can win to help the Broncos into 4th spot.

Has anyone else got thoughts on the game if you watched it?

Didn't watch it but it sounds like one of those games where the half time break twists the match up.

Canberra is going to cause headaches. IMO, Raiders could very easily beat Sharks, Roosters, Dragons. And would give Manly a rattle. No doubt they are going to be THAT team in the semi's.

They are going to win their last 2 (Cows & Dogs), which puts them on either 4th or 5th. Even if Dragons win their last 2 (one of which is the Eels), they won't do it by enough to close the +/-%.

Raiders are the darkhorse, coming home VERY strong.

P.S. I Have the Broncos and Raiders winning their last 2 games ( being Dogs/ Knights and Cowboys/ Dogs respectivly) and Roosters dropping at least 1 game (Dragons), which will mean it is us who are playing the Raiders first week of the semis....*danger***

Poo Bum...we had a good lead and blew it! Seriously why can't we have two good halves instead of only one.

Who is the one? Sandow? [icon_lol1.

I agree. You guys were much more consistent early in the season. Shit in both halves! :P
