Soft defense, this definitely isn't the performance we were looking for.

Broncos on the attack again...you wouldn't know about it though because the commentators don't seem to care.

Moon may of scored.

I hope we can dominate the last 20 mins of this match, it has been a poor showing thus far from the Broncos.

Corey Hughes over for the dogs. Thaiday on report for dangerous tackle. 36-22 with about 5 mins to go

absolute disgusting effort 2 weeks out from the finals. We shouldn't really expect anythin less form a Broncos side. They have played with no pride in there jersey for years now.

Brisbane Broncos: 36
Tries: Justin Hodges 2, Sam Thaiday 2, David Stagg, Joel Moon
Goals: Corey Parker 6/6

def.

Bulldogs 22
Tries: Heka Nanai 2, Corey Hughes, Jarrad Hickey
Goals: Hazem El Masri 3/4

The Brisbane Broncos didn't have to get out of second gear to prevail over the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium on a very wet Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs put a shock through the Broncos side following two soft tries before the Broncos scored three unanswered tries going into halftime.

Following halftime Hodges found himself over the line and despite a few anxious moments the Broncos were home and hosed following a Joel Moon try during the 60th minute.

The Broncos go onto face the Knight next week at Suncorp Stadium in what shapes up to be a real test for both sides. A win will see either side go into the finals series with abundance of confidence and momentum. While a loss may see either side fall out of contention for a premiership victory.

All in all, strike up another finals appearance to the Brisbane Broncos!

Not happy with that scoreline. Our defence will need to improve big time if we are to be contenders.

Sort've feels like we lost that game [icon_confu

It does a bit jarro.

Last week seemed like such a boost for our guys but it appears we went back two gears today. Like I said, next week will be the true test.

If the guys can work on their defence, we could be a real threat. If not, we'll be out asap.

Suprise suprise. Who did we just see on camera? [icon_lol1.

Just watchin the game on TV, HAZEM deserves a wrap he did some great things for the dogs. It appeared that the Broncos treated the game as a training run, they seemed to be trying a lot of different things. Pity they didn't try to work on there defense.

We've looked pretty disorganized there without Ennis.

I think that was one of the worst games of football i have ever seen !!

Possibly but that was to be expected. the biggest problem I have with the performance is the Bulldogs scoring 20 odd points. We won't win many finals if teams score 20 points on us.

Exactly ... and that gets down to attitude.

Ours is pretty ordinary at the moment ... let's hope it picks up on friday night [icon_pray.

Average game by the Broncos, really dissapointed in them. Really should put 50 on the Bulldogs and stepped up in defense and showed that we are a force come the finals.

Really REALLY missed Ennis today- Clinton was impressive once again, Wallaces kicking game is just. unreal. Hodges stepped up finally. Off todays performance I'm finding it hard to think we will venture much into the finals campaign although I hope I am proved wrong.
