Yeah, Anthony Millford is a player to watch, looks to have great vision and passing game. He is a natural 6
I think we should hire 20 more scouts.
Brisbane Broncos pledge to develop local talent, not import it
Well some of these kids better become stars otherwise we are going to have a bit of trouble.
Right now it's clear we have a deficiency in the halves. The Broncos will keep saying they have faith in Hunt, Norman, Kahu et al unless they have a viable option to sign from outside.
Can you name another club that has produced from its stocks in the past 18 months 2 origin players (Gillett, Yow Yeh) and 4 internationals (Glenn, Beale, Hoffman, Reed).

Considering you used 4 non Aussies as internationals I think that's a pretty loaded way to describe something. Glenn is gun but the other 3 are by no means stars and all had their struggles this year. And even then, Glenn didn't debut in the last 18 months. Neither did Yow Yeh.
So if we are talking players produced since the time Glenn and YY arrived Manly have DCE, Foran and to a lesser extent Buhrer.
Dogs have Reynolds and Kasiano.
We have had good forwards come through but we haven't dominated the youth ranks and the internationals argument is just weak as piss.
We certainly need some of these kids to become marquee players. I feel we lack a real marquee player now Lockyer is gone.
It's not about rep players but good ones. I don't care how many tests DCE has played, he's the best player to come through in 2 years. You can use rep footy as a barometer for saying we are the best at producing talent but reality doesn't support that. We haven't fallen drastically behind or anything but it's not giving us an advantage.
I still think we produce good forwards but we have a cod ordinary record of developing halves and hookers and that's where we are failing.
