Basically, who do you think will come out of nowhere this season and make a bit of a name for themselves?

For example, before last season, i bet no one had heard of Bryson Goodwin. Well now he's established himself as first choice at the Bulldogs, scored plenty of tries, represented New Zealand and may even land the kicking duties this season. Not bad for someone who was a 'no name' only a year ago.

So who's going to come out of the woodwork this season and surprise us all?

Junior Tia-Kilifi if he gets a chance in first grade.

Matt Duffie - Big Storm winger, scored a try a game in Toyota Cup and has the body for NRL. If he gets into the team for round 1 he will stay there permanently.

You're right when you're talking about league experts like the BHQ community but I doubt the general slob on the street had ever heard of him, at least before the 4 nations.

Not sure if they would be surprise packets, both of them had outstanding years last year and you'd expect them to do the same again this year to be honest.
