Bronco's didn't see him as an edge player though. It's doubtful he would have had the same impact he's having up north.

Same issue we had with Taylor, for some inexplicable reason he was being played in tight and not performing and was unhappy and then he signs for Souths and we play him one player in from the centres and he went berzerk for the final month or two of the season.

In fairness to the club, big and especially inexperienced bodies such as theirs are, generally speaking, a liability on the edge in the modern game. There are exceptions to the rule though and the club should have been willing to make exceptions for talents such as those 2.
