Good story. What a weapon of a signing for the broncs
His killer instinct while hunting the wild pigs is well hidden.
Another 2-3 games and he’ll be close to where he wants to be fitness wise.
I’d love to see him in the 6 next year next to Reynolds. But it then remains to be seen what we do with Mam if he kicks on.
Paix can barely survive 40 minutes at hooker. Mam is a while away from being in the side consistently, give him 2 or 3 years as a fringe NRL player behind Martin and he can be the successor.Yeah I wouldn't of thought of him as that type
6 is definitely the position he sees himself as and probably his best position, otherwise he would of been playing fullback for his local team In NZ.
Playing him as fullback this year let's him ease into the contact again because you can see sometimes he's still abit hesitant which is understandable.
Maybe if Paix can become a 80 min hooker we can slip Mam onto the bench to just play a impact on the ball type roll.
But I do see Martin wanting to head back to NZ at one point so if the Warriors came knocking I wonder what he'd do
Yeh he said he was keen to make some cash and buy a farm so that he can live off the land back in NZ.Yeah I wouldn't of thought of him as that type

Surely the club has connections that could find him a handsome discount on a farm in rural New Zealand. If you’re gonna manipulate the cap that has to be one of the most low key ways to do it.Yeh he said he was keen to make some cash and buy a farm so that he can live off the land back in NZ.
A two year deal at $400-500K a year would suit him well. Then I think he might be eyeing a move back home.
He might be handy as a swap deal to get Walsh back. Doubtful but you never know.
Play Mam off the bench for a couple of years and move him into the halves when Reynolds retires…His killer instinct while hunting the wild pigs is well hidden.

TMM interview with a fellow Maori bloke about different aspects of his life, definitely gives you a better understanding of who Te Maire is and his road back to the NRL.what's the facebook attachment? adblocker says no.
thanks budTMM interview with a fellow Maori bloke about different aspects of his life, definitely gives you a better understanding of who Te Maire is and his road back to the NRL.
In all the interviews I've seen of him, he seems like a really good fella. I'd love to keep him around the club longer term. A lot more humble than the spuds we've recently moved on.The exact type of personality the club is building for and around.
Because I think he is still too raw to start in the NRL. He makes too many mistakes atm and yes he has had some impact, which is why I think bringing him into grade slowly will benefit him in the long run.Why ? He already showed he can compete in 1st grade . 2 try assists would affirm that ?
I haven't seen much of TMMs kicking game but gamble did almost all of our end of sets last night. I think Gamble is an obvious guy to keep around the club for depth but I have to agree, loving TMM at FB and I think if herbie or cobbbo move backthere eventually it would be good to see TMM partner reyno in the halves. Mam seems to have taken to the occasion a bit better than what Tom dearden did which is probably more to do with the experienced guys he had around him.Because I think he is still too raw to start in the NRL. I think at best we’ll get somewhere around 20 games a season out of Reynolds, not counting finals, so there will be opportunities for him, but I think we are better served with TMM in the halves as the ‘steady’ partner and Mam to provide impact.
Unfortunately this means Gamble would have to drop back in the pecking order, but it would mean we have found a better fullback than TMM and overall it would mean we are a much stronger side I think.

i think with Reynolds injuries Mam will still get alot of game time , so send him back to cup with some things to work on with the carrot of getting more games. 1910 has mentioned he's struggled in cup so in all honesty he still needs to show he deserves his spot.Gonna be hard to drop him .
Try assists and now a try . I remember Ryan James saying in pre season that Ezra was a freak and it`s annoying how good he is at every thing . I trust his opinion . He will grow into the job . I see him as similar to Selwyn . The bigger the challenge the higher they rise .
