All the tennis greats call it "sportsmanship"I really wish Novak would **** off, I'm so sick of the ****. He's a fucking flog that seems to be given a free pass cause he's pretty good at tennis.
Should start DQing the shit rag for his fake 'I lost a set' injuries.
I don’t think he was faking it, he was moving really poorly and changed up his game style.
I’m not a tennis guy by any means but to me it’s as simple as De Minaur just not being as physically gifted as his opponent.I think de Minaur needs to make the tough call and seek out a better coach. I don't think Hewitt is a good coach.
Work ethic only gets you so far, but to beat the top 3-4 players in the world you need the natural talent as well. If we could combine De Minaur with someone like Kyrgios who is a naturally gifted athlete, that there would be a top 4 player consistently who would win slams.I’m not a tennis guy by any means but to me it’s as simple as De Minaur just not being as physically gifted as his opponent.
Sinner was just on another level and De Minaur looks like a boy playing against men when he gets deep into the competitions
Completely agree.Work ethic only gets you so far, but to beat the top 3-4 players in the world you need the natural talent as well. If we could combine De Minaur with someone like Kyrgios who is a naturally gifted athlete, that there would be a top 4 player consistently who would win slams.
Its not a knock on Alex and if he keeps up his consistency he might get lucky and jag a dream draw to a slam final but its hard to see him pushing through to the next tier despite all the rubbish tennis Australia will tell you. He just hasn't got that next level unfortunately.
