SPOILER The Dynasty Begins: The Brisbane Broncos are winning back-to-back premierships in 2026

Likely origin players.
Walsh
Staggs
Shibasaki
Carrigan
Haas
Maybe Mam
Maybe Piakura

That’s it.

So origin time:
1. Perham/Inness
2. Karapani
3. Anderson
4. Mariner
5. Arthars
6. Walters
7. Reynolds
8. Willison
9. Hunt
10. Jensen
11. Gosiewski
12. Riki
13. Talty

14. Mozer
15. Te Kura
16. Tawha
17. Junt
With soo many Kiwis in our team it protects us a bit from origin, and most of the rest are on the older side which Billy is very unlikely to pick as he tends to build his teams for the future.

Even if Talty has a Shiba season next year NSW is soo stacked in his positions that he will never be picked as well.

It's probably unrealistic to expect to replicate Penrith playing 5 grand finals in 5 years and winning 4 in a row...but if the Broncos can get even two more during this Walsh + Haas era/career (assuming R360 doesn't **** it up) that would be amazing.

Chur my bro.

We won the comp about 3 weeks ago, but November 1 is 7 days away, which means preseason training is not far away!!

There will be none of the Top 17 and I don't think any of the guys that were training with the squad through the finals... Burleigh and Wynnum both made finals so those players may not be there either... but the T&T guys could start up as well as the dev deal guys and then some of those further down the list... maybe Aublix and Duffy with phins and cows missing finals, but not sure if they played finals in Qcup?

Crazy to think that some of the boys are still playing footy, but some of the extended might already be slogging it out for preseason pretty soon.

Also will be interesting to see what offers Haas starts to get.

I don't know whether Willison and Mariner have ruled themselves out of contention being Kiwis, but I could see both sniffing around the periphery of the Origin squad.

Willison has been selected for kiwis this pac champs, but not sure if that automatically rules him out or if he needs to play a game for them first. I think he came to Aus pretty late though, so he may not even be eligible under the rules.

Deine I think has previously been selected for a kiwi squad as well, but not sure if he's played or same as above as to whether it automatically rules him out. He may have switched over to Samoa now, but also not sure if they even qualify for Qld.

Regardless, I think they're both Origin standard, or at least in the conversation.

On the flip-side, how Jesse's fortune has changed over the course of the season.

I could see Jesse asking for a release given he's in a contract year... becomes hard for him to secure a decent contract if he's in reserve grade, but also dropping down the list at broncos with guys like Verhoeven coming through.

He was leading try scorer in the comp early last season, and being lusted after by the Reddit cottagers.

We had the second best attack in the comp, so I wouldn't be surprised if the combined tries for our left sided wingers leads the comp.

Shiba was the highest scoring centre in the comp.

Jesse is a good player without needing to just fall over the line, so I don't think he'll have a hard time finding a new spot, but he needs to up his yardage game, because that's where Karapani and Mariner have gone past him

Willison was 15 when he came over and went to PBC and finished in 2020. Mariner was nearly exactly the same 12 months later.

November 16 Grand Final guys are back. Train and Trial guys are in for testing before that.
