I remember years ago we had a manly fan on the loud speaker, we played the worst music during the game, we’d open every game with the cheerleaders and the crowd was very rarely hyped.

Somehow we are now worse.

This “strike the shoe” crap is the lamest thing I’ve ever seen at the footy. We’ve stopped the horse neigh as we are charging onto a kick chase, the songs we play are terrible still. But the absolute worst part is having the monotonous drawl of Alex Glenn poorly reading the words “let’s go Broncos, let’s go” for 80 minutes. He sounds like he struggles to read. He couldn’t motivate us when he was on the field, why on earth would he be able to motivate us off it?

Maybe it was because we were being humbled by the Dargs but the Wiggles almost sent me over the edge today at HT.

Im more annoyed that the cheapest family ticket I can purchase to the game on Saturday night is almost $300.

So we won’t be going.

Edit: technically it would be more than $300 cos my kids are 13 so would be on a student ticket not a family pass

We can't forget the;

"Don't stop now the boys need you" at 30-8 down against the Dragons. He was giving pep talks to the players on kick off receptions too on our side, Piakura and Shiba. Like mate, you aren't their coach, what could you possibly be telling them lol, I'd rather they listen to me in the front row telling them to to stop being shit, or the kid next to me screaming "they haven't won a game all season".

Whoever is in charge of game day should be sacked. Sacking the ground announcer was an awful move. Glenn was good at the end of last year but the novelty has worn off. The people with mics need to shut the **** up and let the crowd respond to the game. The woman is particularly horrible

He was terrible at the end of last year too. It's just boring monotonous crap. There's no way whoever is in charge of that stuff genuinely thinks it's enjoyable.
