Seriously **** off the ex-players from making judgements... You'll never get any consistency in verdicts while these ex-players and their biases sit in judgement.
What the NRL should do is get some retired judges (or something similar) onto the panel. While they may have never played the game, they will be able to apply the law as written after watching the footage and listening to arguments.
The fans of the game are seriously sick of being confused week in, week out by a player getting suspended for the exact same thing that a player was found not guilty for the previous week (or vice versa)
I think that will give us much more consistency of the penalties handed down by the judiciary ... And at the end of the day, thats all anyone is asking for...
