Seriously **** off the ex-players from making judgements... You'll never get any consistency in verdicts while these ex-players and their biases sit in judgement.

What the NRL should do is get some retired judges (or something similar) onto the panel. While they may have never played the game, they will be able to apply the law as written after watching the footage and listening to arguments.

The fans of the game are seriously sick of being confused week in, week out by a player getting suspended for the exact same thing that a player was found not guilty for the previous week (or vice versa)

I think that will give us much more consistency of the penalties handed down by the judiciary ... And at the end of the day, thats all anyone is asking for...

Jorge Taufua has also been found not guilty.

I would like to think the judiciary won't let Guerra off.

You take a look at Luke and Taufua, you could make a case that they were bracing for impact.

But Guerra's shoulder charge was different. He came in field with the arm tucked in and knocked an Eels decoy runner to the ground.

The decoy runner wasn't running at him.

I can live with Taufua's sentence given his actions were involuntary, but the fact Luke got off is a joke. Watching the footage again, it's clear he could have taken a different option yet deliberately went in for a shoulder charge.

The judiciary have set a bad precedent.

Yeah, I dont see how you can use the brace defence when you're running towards the other player like Luke was.

I think after tonight my argument will have even more credibility ... The current judiciary is a joke. They don't care about the laws, they only do what they want.

I have no idea what the NRL is doing anymore

So players aren't shoulder charging rather they're shoulder bracing?

Trust the Judiciary to fall for this Saul Goodman esque ploy.

Guess what .... Guerra found NOT GUILTY

Thus ends the ban on shoulder charges, if Luke's and Guerra's aren't suspendable, none of them are.
