Man this almost makes me want to non-Broncos game. I imagine the Storm gam crowds are up too, I imagine there are a lot of fans of a lot of teams wanting to watch them more than ever.

It’s hard to see how it gets better for Melbourne as well. Katoa may never make it back. Hughes and Munster are old. Xoates is probably the Chiefs inaugural marquee signing.

Something seemed off last year with so many players hitting the exit door and not being replaced, this has never been the way for Melbourne in the past.

They’ve also been rejected by a number of players they’ve targeted and this has never happened before.

But they still had the Bellamy factor and that seemed like it would be enough but right now, it doesn’t look like it is. If this is the beginning of the end for this disgrace of a club, I think their game attendances are about to spike. There are a lot of fans in Melbourne or other clubs who would happily pay to see them lose week in, week out.

Is it selfish of me to want us to crush their souls again?

Im kind of hoping the storm get only enough wins to be in 9th or 10th by round 26 when we play them. Only with a 50+ crushing defeat or last minute on the buzzer loss at suncorp for them getting them to miss finals officially.
