I wonder how many teams respond well after two GF losses in a row. I also imagine that aren’t many that have experienced it.

Balmain still made finals in 1990 and Dragon's 11th 1994 but made the Grand Final in 96.

Manly made finals in 1984 after losing to the Eels 1982 and 1983.

In Brisbane Souths lost 79, 80 and won 81 but then lost 1982 again. Lost 84 and won 1985.

It's pathetic, we win the comp and people still sit there (more than one person) "well if we played this team and not this team they would have beat us", heard that all through the finals.

It means nothing, absolutely nothing. The fact is, we won the comp.

I wonder if these people hold themselves to the same standard in the real world. "Well if this guy didn't resign I wouldn't have got promoted". We put ourselves in that position. That's what you do, you work hard, earn the right to be in the position and take advantage of any luck that comes your way. Steven Bradbury made a career out of it.

People who work hard get lucky.

Now I’ve calmed down a bit, if we don’t have Walsh we lose Sunday by 30 points.

We’ve got a lot of room for improvement… and I think we went on a god mode run that may never be repeated by anyone to get the W but we’re far from the best team in the league.

Madge got us fit but we’ve still got holes all over the park.

Yeah like claiming that peaking at the right time is some fluke or some bullshit... isn't that the coach's ****ing job!!

Bellamy manages his team through the whole year to peak at the right time... Ivan rested 16 players 2 weeks out from the finals to get his team peaking at the right time... and then we had to play them with their full strength side.

They now have no QLD feeder clubs, they are pretty much a NSW side with a NSW grub coach.. Surely their QLD fans defect and come and join the Broncos hype train?
