During the 2000's period they were a regular finals side, they were a competitive side and even we struggled to beat them especially at Suncorp. They produced some good talent, as well.

Since their premiership, they're not even a shadow of the club they used to be. It's all gone to shit from top to bottom.

I feel like it's been a long history of terrible recruitment decisions 🤔🤔

They kicked that off by offering Bhunt a massive contract to get him out of Brisbane, and that has the flow on effect to cap space for others.

Widdop was a great signing for them, but they couldn't keep both in the end, and Widdop was probably the better option compared to Bhunt, but the length and size of the contract wedged them into a corner.

They must've had a barren run of juniors coming through as well, because it doesnt feel like theyve had a real gun prospect in the team for awhile.

It's been guys like Dufty, Sloane, Amone, etc. who haven't converted to being actual first graders

they've decided to go a different route and have hired Ben Creagh to do the job instead
