It's always good to score points before half-time, especially when you're a player short. Fortunately the Warriors mistakes made life very easy for the juniour Broncos.

I thought the same, but they've got a triple header with the Auckland Warriors taking on North Sydney at 3.

Not a lot between either side, Brisbane with so many players out have predominately kept it pretty simple. Plenty of one out runs and when they've looked to use the ball they've leaned on O'Hara who is having a mixed afternoon. He finished the half with a classic halves try assist, but he had plenty of territory to work with and he needs to be better his decision making.

The defence has shown plenty of commitment. They've been very vulnerable down O'Hara's fringe, but they're recovered nicely and it took a lot going the Warriors way for them to dot down.

After two desperate try saving efforts, the Warriors finally crack. Woolf sums up the situation with a flat pass to Elliott who scores underneath the uprights.

WARRIORS 36 defeat BRISBANE BRONCOS 20

A quality second half performance from the Warriors. They were able to win the ruck and the halves capitilised with strong individual performances.

For the Brisbane Broncos, they would be disappointed with the way they let that game slip. For the first 50 minutes, they appeared to be the better football team, but a couple of silly errors gave the Warriors momentum and once they had it they never let it go and the Broncos were far too impatient with the football.

A disappointing result for the visitors who are now 5-7. As bad as it appears on paper, with so many players out either due to injury or representative commitments, it wasn't as alarming as it may seem.
