So what's the go here? The refs are calling on the VR the majority of times, which is stopping plkays for minutes at a time, killing the momentum of the teams and just ruining watching it live.

Yesterday the Tigers v Knights was sent upstairs 10 times, which ended up being around 20 minutes of stoppage time, for some pretty easy calls.

Anyone else getting the shits here?

I'm hoping it's just a short term thing. Refs get slammed when they make the smallest mistakes, if they're not sure than taking it out of their own hands is a good move. I just hope that by sending it up they're taking note on whether they were correct or not, learning from it, and in the future will be confident enough (and more importantly, competent enough) to be able to rule it on the spot.

To add to that though, I think we need to have a hard look at the touch judges. Do they do anything but mark where a kick has gone in to touch? They're officials in their own right, and though the head on-field ref has final say, they should be much more vocal when it comes to things like forward passes, off-sides, knock-ons etc. At the moment either their opinions are being ignored or not trusted, or they're simply saying "dunno" to the head ref.
