Wallace apprenticeship moves into next phase

Qld Props not necessarily in this order ahead of Wallace:

1. Scott
2. Myles
3. McGuire
4. Lillyman
5. Napa
6. Sims
7. Lawrence (still?)
8. Hannant
9. Shillington (still?)

Have I forgotten anyone? Given the age of some of those guys, would it be a complete stretch to say that Wallace is completely out of the running for an origin berth at some point? I don't think he ever will be at that level either but he certainly not completely out of the realms of possibility. He was better than average this season and he had a fantastic GF which was obviously a fine test of his mettle at that next level kind of game. He may not be as far away from consideration as some think if he backs up even better next season. He certainly surprised me this year.

Papalli? He's second rower/prop but seems to have apretty decent impact.

I still rate Wallace and its bull that he gets penalised nearly every game. He got penalised in the same game that Ferguson held down 5 times longer and didn't get penalised.

Ha. Wallace is useless and we're better off with an upgrade. Just like blair was a pointless signing right guys?

You realise that I was one of the only people who supported that signing right? And how is signing someone who's proven they can be an elite player even comparable to not re-signing a guy who's had 5-7 good games in 3 seasons

Wallace fills the cheap but solid and reliable bench prop that every club needs. He wouldn't be on a lot, which means we can use that money towards keeping our current stars or safeguarding our future ones. If he starts asking for more than we can afford then absolutely we say thanks for your service and good luck, but for now I don't see why we need to replace him.
