Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah today confirmed Parramatta’s 2009 NRL grand finalists Feleti Mateo and Krisnan Inu have signed three-year contracts with the club through to the end of the 2013 season.

Didn't see that one coming. Two massive signings.

Awesome Awesome Awesome oh.... and Awesome

It has been a rumour for a while. I just hope this does not mean Tate is on his way back to Red Hill

Inu has been linked with them for awhile. Mateo is a bit of a suprise. Well, the signing with the Warriors bit not the leaving the Eels bit.

I think Mateo is overrated to be honest. I keep expecting him to have big games, but I always seem to be dissapointed. Reminds me a bit of John Sutton.

Agree. Huge potential, but never seems to play to it.

That said, if he can find consistency he could easily be the best lock in the world.

Most Warriors fans seem to believe that any of the following will be wished their future endeavours at the end of this year:

Brent Tate
Joel Moon
Jeremy latimore
Jacob Lillyman
Wade McKinnon
Jesse Royal

Royal and Lillyman I'd hang on to. Decent enough forwards. But the rest, meh. Either past it or never had it (Moon).

I reckon they'll flick Moon before they get rid of Tate.

McKinnon is worth hanging on to, his form in 2008(?) was shit hot. He could be that good again shortly.

He's Lockyeresque...in terms of he's not been the same on his feet since he did his knee and I can't see him getting that agility and speed back. And he doesn't have Lockyer's footy brain or vision, so he's next to useless.

He'd go well in Q Cup though.

Like Nick Parfitt? icon_thumbs_u

McKinnon used to be awesome before he got injured and I was thinking... this guy can really play. His big flaw was he use to be this crazy hot head at the wrong times. Now he's crap as well so he's no good... probably off to Super league IMO.

Mateo is a huge signing - not sure about the coaching at the Warriors though. With the right coaching I reckon Mateo could really be a top shelf player... but he's got to be one of the biggest "coach-killer" players in the game. Remember that offload in last years semi against the Dragons?! My god!!! He got the hook straight away and would have copped a BLASTING.

Anyway - he's one of the few players in our game today (particularly in the forwards) that has that 'X-factor'. I just don't think the Warriors was the right team for him --> in terms of developing his game.
