I’m about to go on my big European Vacay, looking at buying an eSIM - how many gigs does everybody reckon I should buy if I will be doom scrolling, watching footy, feeding the kids x 2 iPad YouTube habits only have access to wifi for 5days etc etc

I think Porthoz has covered it pretty well. I haven't been in Europe for ages. My phone allows for esims so I just buy something from Ubigi that will cover the countries I'm in. I imagine in Europe there are roaming agreements.

If your phone supports esims then it's incredibly easy to switch networks temporarily.
