I feel Dennan on the list is a bit stiff for him. Great start at Brisbane, then went downhill over at NZ. Got significantly injured during a game with broken ribs and a pneumothorax/haemothorax and never really recovered after this injury. Definitely an unlucky career. I was/am a big fan and love his podcast.

He started playing league very late as well.. so he probably got as much out of his career as he could... but he talks about his own limitations in the game.

Definitely dropped off when he took the cash to head over to wahs... I don't think any right winger in that wahs team got the ball when they had Vatuvei on the left wing.

We'll always have the last second try vs Parra

Ash Taylor had debilitating injuries. He has played a few games for Oakey in the toowoomba comp which he captain/coaches. I saw him play once and another bloke told me you wouldn't know watching him play he was a former nrl "star" who only just turned 30. Gets wrapped up like a mummy to just get out there. It's quite sad.

Would’ve been interesting to see how Kemp would’ve gone if he stayed in Brisbane.

Dr Taumata lost his licence by writing scripts for himself lmao

I’m guessing you’re meaning TRex aka Tony Williams?

Feleti went to SL I think. He had a season or two as a god of SuperCoach with his offloads. I think the game passed him by in that respect and if your offloads aren’t sticking or part of the game plan, what else are you gonna do?

Yep Tony Williams, that’s it. He was a bit of Dave Taylor lite. All the talent in the world but for whatever reason just couldn’t consistently put it together.

If Israel Falou isn't really a wasted potential, but if he stayed in league he would've been an all time great outside back.
For sure. Crazy that he was only 21 when he left the NRL, he achieved a lot in four seasons. I know To'o is absolutely incredible and I can't argue with anyone saying he's the greatest winger of all time, but I am still picking Izzy ahead of him.

For the ability he had for me its the coal train. I've said it a lot, but if he had any work ethic he would have easily been one of the best players in the game, let alone the best forward.

Does the fact they’ve all played for the Broncos during the club’s post-2006 dog days say much?

I'd have to go Eric Grothe Jr.

On talent, he had all the ability to be a Hall of Fame calibre player. However he was lazy and his attention to detail just made him a liability.

Before Ben, there was Aaron Barba who was every bit as electric as his brother, but also as big a handful (if not moreso) off the field.

For the Broncos, maybe he would have peaked as a Dean Widders style bench player, but Caleb Timu was right up there with Su'A and Pangai Jr as one of the most lethal edge forwards to come through the 20s. For mine, he was the Broncos best 20s player that never played NRL.

Troyden Watene was one that I thought looked a great prospect coming through the 20's and then never heard of him again

He ended up signing with the Cowboys only to wind up at Norths. I remember wanting both him and Gibb at the club but Watene failed to recapture that form moving forward.

The Broncos wasted potential team:

1. Carlin Anderson?
2. Denan Kemp
3. Joel Moon
4. Selwyn Cobbo
5. Jonus Pearson
6. Anthony Milford
7. Brett Seymour
8. Ben Czislowski
9. Ian Lacey
10. Dave Taylor
11. TC Robati
12. David Fifita
13. Caleb Timu

14. Jayden Nikorima
15. David Hala
16. John Te Reo
17. George Fai

With all due respect, I don't think Czislowski was ever that great. Was one of the Clydesdales better players at a time where they weren't that flash and the Bulldogs whipped themselves into a frenzy over him because they were about to say goodbye to Steve Price.

Put it this way, with Costigan, Thaiday and Learoyd-Lahrs coming through the Broncos weren't losing any sleep over the move.

Circumstances killed Milf's career.

He had a great 2015 as a running half and in 2016 he was already showing signs of maturing as a half.

He was going to be our long term 6 and then Bhunt got vultured by a ridiculous contract that derailed both clubs and probably Bhunt's career, on top of that Bennett pivoted and decided Milf would be our halfback instead.

He may have been wearing the 6, but that's basically the same as Lockyer wearing the 6... he was going to be our primary half moving forward.

In the preseason when he was going to make that transition he had shoulder surgery and missed the full preseason.

Bennett also decided that Kodi would wear the 7 and play on the right (like a normal halfback would) but it created confusion with the halves pairing ... and then from there it was a merry go round across the entire spine as to who would play alongside Milf.

He then ended up having another shoulder surgery to destroy back to back preseasons... whilst he was still trying to transition into being our half.

By that point Bennett was on track to being knifed, Darius was breaking down and Milf was having to play 3 spine positions across the year whilst also being brought back early from injuries.

Had Bhunt stayed Milf's career could've been anything... had we picked up a halfback when Milf left he could've been anything... had he not had shoulder surgeries destroy preseason after preseason then he couldve been anything.

For other guys like Taylor it was more the mental side that destroyed their careers... so that falls entirely on them.

unfortunately Milf got unlucky and had a lot of things taken out of his control.
You misspelled KFC.
And being a lazy ****.
Those two things killed Milf’s career.

Bit early for Cobbo for IMO. Unless you're going for wasted potential in a Broncos jersey?
