What i would do the second Mr Reynolds walks through the Red Hill door..

Which is gamble. Leave the "running" to the centres.
Yeah you may be right. I’m a fan of Gamble but he doesn’t have any speed or footwork which is a big part of putting the defence in 2 minds. Though we’ve had 0 halves for 2 and a half seasons - Reynolds and Gamble is a far improvement on that.

His lack of speed and footwork is made up for by his slight of hand and willingness to roll the dice. He's got balls to put in an early one in or over the top for his link players. In today's over structured game, he's the type of player that will soon be very valuable. Some of his line break assists have been lovely to watch. Just as good as any other half in the game on more money.

I wonder how he’ll go on the left. Hopefully having 2 halves willing to take on the line linking up will create space for Niu -> Staggs/Farnworth

Send them all out to the the field for a game or rolling touch. 40min, 8 tackle sets and can only kick from inside your own 40.

Heres a guy who might very well be pushed out of this Cronulla side next year.

Ive only seen the highlights, unfortunately ive no idea what sort (if any) kicking game the kids got but for 4 NRL games im impressed...

Look at the speed here.

Sleight of hand late in the game, looks like hes setting to play Talakai short but then goes long and gets Ronaldo on the outisde to score...

Luke Metcalf, keep a eye on him...
Sharkies have a pretty high opinion on metcalf. He pushed beyond connor Tracey this year, and many within the club rate him above trindall and moylan (who won't be there for long).

Not sure where fitzgibbon stands on him though.

Had to double check that it wasn't @upthebroncs with this post. Just waiting for the Youtube highlights reel to be posted now.

Mate just text me and said Reynolds just did his knee. I’m not watching. Can anyone confirm?

Looked bad but he's alright. Would be just our luck, just like staggs in the last game of last year. Over our bad luck with injuries...

You'd think precaution tbh. Looked to hyperextend it.

I’m hoping it’s just precaution as they have benji on the bench why keep him out there.

Reynolds stats are most likely pretty rubbish week in week out.

But tonight showed exactly what he will bring next year and its precisely what we are missing. Rabbits had no direction and looked lost when he went off. The second he came back on, despite only having 12 men they looked a different team.

The work he must do behind the play and his organisation and guidance around the field must be pretty special.

Boy I'm excited for what he can do for us next year.

Pretty much posted the exact same thing in another thread, he made a massive difference

Couple youngsters coming through… personally I reckon get Ezra in the halves as soon as possible but not to rushed maybe end of next year or start of 23’ season. Assuming he does well I’d have him as a half and hit the market to replace Reynolds if he likely retires come the end of 24’. Couple other youngsters will likely be options like Karl Olapua apparently he is pretty good but I’d be personally just sticking with Ezra and hitting the market

We need to do something closer to what Penrith did and get a couple of young combinations playing in Q-Cup together earlier. Similar to Alfie and Kevie or Cleary and Luai. And keep them together for as long as possible (Hopefully 3years). Even if one of them has a purple patch, leave them in Q cup, and bring in Walters or Kelly/Gamble.

It may be painful in the short term, we may lose some of them, but it will pay off medium to long term. Otherwise we just run the risk of another Deardon.
