3-4m? Did we watch the same video?
Edrick caught the ball on his 10m line and started sprinting. Roberts was on about his 7m line when Edrick caught the ball. By the time Roberts had stopped, turned, then started running, Edrick had, what I would say, is a 6m lead at around the 25-30m mark. By the opposite 20m mark, Roberts was able to ankle tap him, but failed.
So in 70m, Roberts gained around 6m on Edrick, after having to stop, turn and chase. In a race over say 70-80m, Roberts would beat Edrick by 4-5m, IMO, based off that video and taking into account for Edrick running with the ball.
