An actual decent article that states the three obvious issues the club has faced.

Hopefully Madge can fix all three. The obvious thing is he will beed time to fix one and two but only results can allow him to fix the third. But results are directly related to the first two issues.

The club needs to gove him time despite outside noise and early results. Every club that has fallen needs time unless your as ruthless as the Roosters and even they haven't won a recent title when you could argue they have the squad to do it.
 
His point that the Titans have impacted the Broncos is flawed, the Broncos have the best players from the Coast.

They have five on Saturday (Walsh, Arthars, Haas, Piakura and Willison.) that either went to school or junior club on the Gold Coast. Then outside of the 17 on Saturday you can add Mariner, Black and Mozer and Rogers has played for the Bears Colts and Cup since 2015.

There might be some misses in the next cohort coming through but that's reliant on the Titans knowing what they have.

I don't think the Titans have hurt the Broncos with any player.
 
I tend not to read Zero Tackle articles due to their more than liberal use of ChatGPT making their journalistic integrity somehow just below that of Paul (the tree deserved it) Kent.


As for why we haven't won a Premiership for nearly two decades, well my opinion has always been Brisbane is a victim of their own success.
The club was built on a simple foundation back in the late 1980s of f*ck the NSWRL anyway we can, and guess what, it worked.
The Broncos became the most dominant team of the 90's and it carried on into the early 2000s, but success brings money and money attracts parasites.
All those old timers who built the club retired and were replaced by shinyarse MBA's who cared more about taking $1 and turning it into $1.10.
We became a Merchandise Store with a football team.

We could get away with it back then because we had so many quality Queenslanders to stop the spread of the blue infection. There is a good reason those lot from south of the border are known as cockroaches.

BTW it would be so funny if Carrigan came out and said he was wants to be a Cockroach then you would know true heartbreak.

Isn't one of carrigans parents from NSW?

I am very stateist. People from south of the border are wrong on so many levels i dont know where to start






And no, i'm not serious. I'm flabbergasted anyone would consider taking me seriously, even though i am something of a Rugby League guru. What i dont know about Rugby league isnt worth knowing in all honesty.
