Yeah he kicked it dead but unlike hunt gets a free ride.
He'a done it twice actually.

Unfortunately there some people on here who are so in love with him that they either 1) don't actually see his mistakes or 2) they don't think he makes mistakes so they ignore them.

As the matter stands Milf ain't worth the coin that's being thrown at him.

James Robert look tried
James Roberts has been a mistake IMHO. His defense is really sad, his attitude is shocking and he doesn't run the correct lines or position himself well at all.

I just went and put my broncos jersey on to try and turn our luck around and my son threw up all over it.. not even kidding
Yeah it's been that kind of night

Yeah he kicked it dead and a pissweak tackle attempt but unlike hunt gets a free ride.

He actually got the pass away for the first try. He's been poor, but not as bad as Hunt, who has been awful.

What do you guys want to see in the second half?

I think they need to take the scoreboard out of the equation. At 18 points down, you start trying silly plays that aren't going to work in the NRL, not against the top sides at least.

I'd like to see them go back to what works. Strong kick-chases, test the Wolves out with inside passes and make sure you don't give them a free 20m restart.

Even if the Broncos go down, if they play like that in the second half at least it wouldn't all be doom and gloom.

Haha like i said nothing going our way!

Typical BS where teams rise up to play us. Honestly, we really haven't been able to find that 2015 form. Where is the enjoyment and the passion?

Credit to Warrington, they've come out fired up and put it to us.

If we wanted to wrest control back it had to be before half time. Pretty much fresh slate in the second half.

Need more from our forwards. Gillett and Thaiday have been good , good injection from TPJ and Glenn but too late. Granted we didn't have much ball in the opening exchanges but neither Ese'ese nor Ofa gave us much.

Season is hardly over but extremely worrying IMO. Coming in with this attitude and execution preparatory to a brutal few opening rounds could cos us.

Honestly wish we never bought Roberts.

I just want to see commitment in defence.

Not let this score blow out even more and make it respectable.

I agree. They need to just focus on getting their game right. Once they get some momentum they will start to find the finish.

It looks like we will have to start a lot of our attack from within our own half, unless our halves actually start kicking for field position and our defence dramatically improves.

Milf and Hunt need to run.

How long till 2nd half

I think I mentioned in another thread that in my opinion our defence up the middle could be suspect with McGuire at lock. I haven't changed my mind yet.

Big joes half time stats are pretty impressive,
24 tackles
8 hit ups for 70 meters
3 off loads
3 tackle busts
Can't ask for to much more then that in a side who are been easily beaten

Milford is immune from criticism already. He's not stepping up as a dominant half any time soon. Hunt did more in that half. Also I notice everyone blowing up at Hunt with that first try. Warrington were five metres offside but doesn't matter.

Ofa and Ese'ese aren't doing anything, McGuire is running a lot but not doing much with his runs. Doesn't help that they're trying to get the upper hand when the wolves are 7 metres back. Roberts can't tackle. I said it before we signed him, he doesn't suit out team as he is basically a hole in what used to be an amazing defensive line.

Mead... has he played himself out of a starting spot? Oates needs to stop coming off his wing to make tackles.

Positives, Thaiday doesn't look fat. McCullough is playing well. I still wouldn't run at Gillett. Glenn looked good when he came on. TPJ also looked good.
