He was amazing but its a stretch giving it to a guy from a side that loses by a decent margin plus he made a couple of pretty important errors (dropping the ball over the line and missing the tackle on Hoihia?).

This same thing happened I'm sure in a GF going back a few years, when in the last 10 minutes the game changed and the award ended up going to someone from the losing team. They have since changed the rules to a vote at the end of the game. You'd think the IRFL or whatever they are called (ARL) would have remembered that debarcle.
