Be great if we can get him back on a lower contract. He's so much better than Riki imo. I get he hasnt been value for money at the Titans and he has been a bit lazy at times, but its hard to see how a side going so poorly is going to get anything out of an edge back rower to turn things around.

I was thinking this the other day, Fifita coming back would not surprise me at all but yes, how. He'd have to take a massive pay cut to come and we'd have to lose someone other than Haas, I'm sure.

Its got that risk about it no question. The problem he was always going to have is he is the highest paid player at the club, but in a lot of ways a bit like Haas here, doesnt matter how good he can be, props and edge back rowers just dont have the ability to take a game by the scruff of the neck and win games. Thats on the spine players. Titans have really stuffed up throwing so much cash at Tino and Fifita and then expecting two young forwards to steer that club to success.
