just two things and i would be happy.
Remove the 6 again rule.
And pay the refs based on their performance.
If I’m in charge of the NRL, this means I’m Vlandys and therefore, I would do four things:
1. Avoid all mirrors at all costs as I don’t want to break them by looking at them
2. Issue an apology for all the damage I’ve done to the game
3. Immediately rescind any changes I’ve made to league over the last two years
4. Sack myself and put in a clause that Abdo goes down with me

100% this. I also think a kick off that goes out on the full should be a tap at halfway not a kick for touch.7 tackle sets only for kicks outside the 30m. No way should teams get rewarded for a dropped ball over the line or a grubber that goes dead 5m out.
Ditch the 6-again. It is shit.
THIS.My main one is the ref's ref the rules, and this "game management" thing in the past. It would be a month of bad footy but the reward would be huge.
REFS, PLEASE: call players by number, not name - you're not their mate. Stop coaching them - you're not their coach.
And naked newsHave Danika Mason on both Channel 9 and Fox
I am the opposite to most it seems, I'd love to see a ref with a feel for the game and the best refs do.
Manson, Ward, Harrigan they all understood the game and had a feel. They knew the black and white rules but had a great feel.
I remember Manson saying once the penalty you don't give is sometimes more important than the penalty you do give.
We've lost that because we have made it so confusing in our attempts to make it not confusing.
