Shiba and Gojetski are just examples of why I think Madge is 100% the correct coach.
Good coaches turn average players good, good players great and great players elite.
Add in Haas and Carigan turning elite.
I would like to see the angle that VAR had that showed the double touch because from the replays I've seen, I can't see a double touch.
If there is one, it's the absolute slightest of touches and the trajectory of the ball never changes. From the point of the ball he hits and the follow through, that ball was always going left.
Technically, if there was a double touch it's no goal but surely there's room for discretion.
I'd hazard a guess, especially after seeing what he did in origin last year, he likes working under Madge alot. Heaps of money helps too obviously, but he seems to be in a good frame of mind.
