Our 2 most senior players were our worst. Hunt and Staggs were ****en garbage. Effort was good but application was shit. You'd think we don't train at all. Shibasaki is a pile of shit.

I dont intend to rewatch the game to confirm, and its nothing new, but we gotta do something about our ruck for 27. Way way too often we end up with 1 marker from a 3 man tackle, with 1 or 2 left on the ground, or 1 on the ground and 1 called out not square. I dont think theres another team I see struggle with this part of the game as much as us. On 2 man tackles we even end up with 0 markers at times. Like basic principles of defending just not happening.

The problem is who is going to want to coach here? It's a revolving door and the media bashes you every day. It would only be some unproven coach desperate for any job, and history would just repeat itself.

I get it mate. If the effort in the last 2 games was present in the all our recent loses, we would won 50% of those games... Brisbane are not cooked, and Madge has not lost the dressing room. It just isn't our year. Last 2 games show pride and promise.

you need a club to back him then be prepared to set up the systems around him. similar to what the Storm did for Bellamy ... does anyone really think Madge is so much more intense than Bellamy. so much more intense that he can only last at a club for 3 years before burning them out while Bellamy can last at the same club for 25 years.
