I wouldn’t go that high at the moment in fact I think we should hold off until after Origin and see how he goes over the next couple of months or so. He has not shown much so far this season.

It's hard to argue with that.

Why do people believe every article posted?
You are going to kill yourselves from stress buying into everything said about Broncos.

I can't read the article, I'm too poor to afford $1 a day or whatever it is (I need to spend it on my pumpkin spice coffee), need to see the full article.

Broncos snare former Sharks hooker James Segeyaro

James Segeyaro will link with Brisbane immediately in a bid to re-ignite his NRL career.
Currently contracted to Cronulla’s feeder-club the Newtown Jets, the talented hooker has been released from his one-year contract to join the Broncos for the remainder of the season.
Segeyaro is a ready-made replacement for injured Brisbane hooker Andrew McCullough.
McCullough is out for the next six to eight weeks with a knee injury.
Segeyaro’s move to Queensland will provide him with the chance to play behind a formidable young Broncos pack and additionally much-needed spark and energy out of dummy-half.

Without a club before signing a one-year deal with Cronulla in February, Segeyaro was then squeezed outside the club’s top-30 roster as a result of the NRL wiping $400,000 from their salary cap.
Segeyaro, 28, has been playing for the Jets in the Canterbury Cup — but will view the move north as a chance to re-establish himself as the hooker that won the 2014 Dally M hooker of the year award.
He wasn’t considered for tonight’s Broncos clash with Manly, but is expected to be at Brisbane training next week in preparation for their round 10 match against the Sydney Roosters.

Tiniest, little bit of scuttlebutt, that Souths have made an approach to the Broncs to release Boyd...
Sorry but I think that is BS. Unless it's contingent on us paying at least 70% of he salary.

Seggy is a good signing. Been calling for it for a while, hopefully we got him on the cheap also

I wonder what this means for the future of guys like Turpin?

Just go
1 Bird
2 Oates
3 Lomax
4 Staggs
5 Issako
Sell Boyd
Are we really giving up on Isaako? I'm certainly not, he just needs to get some confidence back and work on his hands and he'll be a gun winger that kicks at 85%, ludicrous to think about moving him on.

probably not he could just sit and get paid till he retires

or retire and force us to carry him on the cap for the next two years
Surely if he retires it's on his own head and therefore we are not obligated to pay him. I thought you had to fit and willing to play before you could claim a wage.

Which club do you think would want him?

To be honest, he would be a great pickup for a young backline. The cowboys could do with someone like him, centre and can play fullback
