He was released by the Tigers effective immediately, but it's been reported that the Cowboys may not be able to afford him under their cap

He's got a good deal at the Eels and he wont have to move his family. A $2.4 million contract for a bloke who has a history of concussions is a bit of a risk still imo. Think Parra have been backed into a corner losing so many forwards.

Yep. Its a good deal for him and will set him up nicely. He had some pretty decent offers here but its difficult to turn down such good money, he isnt a $500k a year player.
