8th is what we deserve, especially seeing we were beaten by the team that got 8th twice in two weeks.

The only team we finished ahead of were the Renegades, who had their 2 overseas players pull out a week before the tournament, 1 of their replacement overseas players getting injured and barely playing, they lost their best 2 players for multiple games during the season because of ODI duties (Finch & Richardson) and had multiple injuries to end the season (Marsh & Harper)

Oh, and 2 out of their 3 wins for the whole season came against us.

We had no injuries, nobody leaving for ODI duties and arguably the best overseas players in the entire tournament in terms of quality.

That really puts in to perspective how abysmal this roster played.

This season the very definition of anti-climax. 34 people turned up to watch paint dry.

I'd say it was one of the worst Summers I can recall in terms of how quickly everything died off after the 5th Test, and it's not like the interest was that high while the Tests were on to start with.

Cricket Australia really needs a clean out at the top just like Rugby Australia, so we can have some fresh thinking to come into the game.
