In the spirit of the All Star Game next year I thought we could look at the Greatest Broncos Indigenous Team of All Time.

This is the Team I came up with -

1. Dale Shearer
2. Joe Kilroy
3. Steve Renouf
4. Justin Hodges
5. Wendell Sailor
6. Anthony Mundine
7. Scott Prince
8. Carl Webb
9. PJ Marsh
10. Sam Backo
11. Gorden Tallis
12. Sam Thaiday
13. Neville Costigan

14. Tony Currie
15. Ken Gittens
16. Derrick Watkins
17. Palmer Wapau

The bench is a bit light, but how about the starting line up? All representative players! The backline has about million tries in them and that would be one of the toughest, meanest, fiercest forward packs ever

*puts Wapau on the bench for lack of better options* [icon_razz1

Though, I know I backed him, and I have no better suggestion

He's an indigenous PNGan though :P

Yes, depends on your definition of indigenous (aborigines only? Aborigines and torres strait islanders? etc). I think Costigan is a stretch to be honest.

No I haven't seen his Dad- You show me a picture of him then I'll believe you, but until then, I won't. I met him once and he looked nothing like Aboriginal in person.

Tallis is part Torres strait islander and part south sea islander, he said he was born in townsville so he always regarded himself as an Australian and hes proud of it.
He said it was an honour to be named in the indigenous team of the century

What would be the criteria for being on an indigenous team? At least half aboriginal? A quarter aboriginal is stretching it IMO.
